Casey’s Bracketology – Feb. 1

I originally wasn’t going to do any bracket predicting this season. It is seriously a lot more labor-intensive than one realizes, especially with more than a month left in the season. But I go the itch and the time opened up (at work), so here’s where we stand with about 6 weeks to Selection Sunday. One thing I won’t try to do is fill out a bracket. I don’t understand how the NCAA decides who it sends where at all, so instead I’ll just give you my seeding lines.

  1. I think UNC will invoke the "UNC Clause" to automatically move 1 seeding spot higher than they deserve to be, putting them as a 1 and knocking OSU down to a 2.

Loving Creighton as a 4, not loving Vandy as a 4 tho.

Someone from the 13th-16th seed will be going to the Elite Eight, and my money is on UNC-Asheville. Well, not literally, not yet at least, but it will be!
